Shima Attari was born in 1985 in Mashhad. She completed her bachelor’s degree in architecture from Zanjan University. She was always interested in designing and simplifying her surroundings, and her design leaflets always inspired others. One day, the director of the Department of Architecture, Dr. Sadegh Falahat, told her that it is better to change her mind and study illustration instead of continuing the field of architecture. Therefore, Shima met Ms. Rashin Khairiyeh in Tehran and got acquainted with the field of illustration. Her interest in the field of illustration led her to continue her studies and receive a master’s degree in illustration from the University of Tehran. After graduation, she continued her activities in this field.In addition to collaborating with children’s magazines and publishing several books with publishers inside and outside Iran, Shima is also active in the field of urban and ceramic art and uses her architectural knowledge in combination with an illustration.
